Mew is a Mythical Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is said to possess the genetic composition of all Pokémon, making it capable of learning every move. Mew is a small, bipedal creature with mammalian features, including large blue eyes and a long, thin tail. Despite its cute appearance, Mew is incredibly powerful and elusive. It can make itself invisible at will and is rarely seen by humans.

Mew is believed by many scientists to be the ancestor of all Pokémon due to its ability to use all kinds of moves. Interestingly, Mew is the only genderless Pokémon that can learn gender-based moves like Captivate and Attract. In the Pokémon world, Mew was discovered in the jungles of Guyana, South America, which confirms that real-world locations exist in the Pokémon universe.

Although Mew appears smooth and sleek, it is actually covered in short, fine, and delicate hair that can only be seen under a microscope. Mew's stats are perfectly balanced, with each trait reaching 100 at max level. In the Super Smash Bros. games, Mew has appeared as a rare Pokéball summon, with its spawn rate corresponding to the number of Pokémon existing at the time of each game's release.
